Thanks for the comment.

Wow, 4 months? I can't go more than 4 days. Most of the time it's updated daily. Guess I just can't resist. lol

Ha, this is interesting. Especially the quote at the end. I do agree that Facebook has become a bit of vain, popularity contest for grown folks.

Of course, I say this, and I check my account multiple times daily. Though I am happy to admit I've only had one status update in 4 months. lol

I believe most writers go through this self- judgement.
We are raised with images of "the starving artist". We are taught to choose our profession on basis of income alone. We are conditioned that "work" is misery; we can't possibly make a living from something we enjoy, that would go against the unspoken law.
If that weren't bad enough, even when we decide we are going to pursue our dream and passion we tend to put it last on the list. Pay the bills. Clean the house. Take care of everything else and if there is still time we will indulge. Purely hypothetically speaking of course.
The hardest part of writing is to train ourselves to write every day, even when we are not inspired, even when other responsibilities call.
What is equally as important is the self talk we give ourselves when we haven't written. Do we chide ourselves, or can we let it go and move forward?
Happy Writing,
Robyn

"Whether the story brings the reader to tears or to laughter, I want to evoke emotion through my words."

This is exactly what I want to accomplish as well. Good luck on your book.
